Who we serve

Why The Threshold Co. exists

Most owners who want to grow, transition, or start something new are handed a short list of options that were not built with them in mind.

The manifesto

Advice that sounds right in a slide deck and lands wrong on a Tuesday morning

On one end sits the $50,000-a-year elite club. Members-only programs built around flashy conferences, motivational events, and six-figure ongoing commitments. Designed for a specific tier of owner. Most of the people who actually need help cannot afford it, cannot travel to it, and often do not want the lifestyle it sells.

In the middle sit the mid-tier coaching programs. Six thousand, nine thousand, fifteen thousand dollars upfront, followed by ongoing engagements. Those programs do exist, and some of them do real work. But most are stitched together from people who have never actually run the kind of business they are advising. They have not stood in a truck yard at 6 a.m. wondering if a key employee is going to show up. They have not been burned by a trusted tech who walked out with a customer list.

The Threshold Co. is built differently. It is operator-led, by someone who has lived the stressors clients are asking for help with. And it is a one-stop shop by design. Systems, culture, hiring, capital access, licensing, and the difficult decisions that sit between them are handled inside one relationship, not farmed out across five vendors who do not talk to each other.

Two doors

Two kinds of owners cross the same threshold

Established operators

Moving off owner dependence

You built something real over years, mostly through personal effort and reputation. The trucks move, the reviews are real, and every fire still ends on your desk.

  • A paid on-site diagnostic maps revenue, profit leakage, sales, retention, and modernization gaps
  • Typical sprints: CRM stand-up, membership program, owner-to-manager handoff
  • Exit narrative and value builder when the horizon is a sale
New founders

Opening with real systems

You are starting something and want the structure in place from day one instead of learning it the hard way.

  • A launch readiness review covering business model, capital stack, licensing, tools, and the first ninety days
  • Typical first moves: licensing path, pricing, intake and follow-up, the first hire
  • Capital access when the plan needs funding
The owners

These are the owners The Threshold Co. was built for

Beauty school

The nurse who wants to open a beauty school.

Daycare

The mother and daughter who have dreamed of running a daycare together.

Landscaping

The landscaper with a strong crew and a language barrier that feels bigger than it is.

Bakery

The pastry maker whose Sunday pop-up already has a following.

The trades

The tradesman ready to go independent, staring at a licensing process he does not know how to navigate.

They do not need a stage. They do not need a conference. They need direction that is realistic, effective, and tailored to their family, their capital, and their definition of success, from someone who has actually been in their seat.
